**Description & Requirements**:
We are looking for a Finance Partner - Store Accounting to join our Consumer Team in Finance Transformation and Enablement team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to support the Consumer Channels team. With our Agile way of working, you will be part of a team of financial and data experts supporting the marketing and device functions of the business.

WHO YOU REPORT TO
- You report to the Chapter lead - Consumer in the Transformation and Enablement Team.

WHAT ARE YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Located in Auckland, you will be working in a cross-functional team supporting the Consumer function of the business.

Your focus will be:

- Month end accounting for our retail stores.
- Monthly Balance sheet and Bank Recs.
- Financial tasks such as month end journals/accruals, reporting and forecasting.
- Working closely with our stakeholders in Store Operations.
- Be a key lead on Audit and compliance activity throughout the year.
- You need to be curious, always on the hunt for process improvement and automation of tasks.
- Provide Support to the channels area of the business on Ad Hoc tasks.

WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED
- Proficient in MS Excel and experience in Xero.
- Experience in PoweriBI and SQL would be advantageous.
- Someone who thrives working on a challenge in a fast-paced and upbeat environment
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting, either CA or working towards CA advantageous.
- You have an analytical approach to problem solving, are able to come up with creative solutions and make effective decisions despite constraints such as limited information, too much information, high complexity and limited time.
- You have energy, a positive attitude, are a fast learner, take responsibility for your deliverables, are able to manage priorities and deadlines, and are proactive in preventing/dealing with issues as they arise.
- You have excellent relationship management and communication skills, work collaboratively within and across teams, and are able to articulate complex ideas in a simple way (both written and verbally).
