**About the role**

Come be part of the Plunge Café at Coastlands Aquatics Centre. As a Senior Café Assistant you will support the pool facility through the provision of an outstanding café experience; great coffee, food and service to all pool and café customers. In the absence of the Team Leader, you will also oversees duty management of all aspects of the running of the Café including food preparation, catering, restocking, and staff performance on a day-to-day work flow basis.

This role is rostered on Sundays 9am-3pm.

**Skills and Experience**
- Customer service skills with demonstrated welcoming, helpful and hospitable attitude and approach to the role.
- Demonstrated proficient barista skills with evidence of completed and successful training.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to customer service and willingness to and capability for working with a wide range of people within and outside the organization.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively without supervision as well as collaboratively as an effective team member.
- Basic food preparation and cooking skills & experience.
- Basic numeracy, literacy and cash handling skills sufficient to effectively provide accurate and detailed cash handling, booking and order taking.
- Experience undertaking cleaning and hygiene tasks.
- Ability to multi-task with exceptional time management and the ability to remain calm and unflustered under pressure.
