Catering Assistant

Casual position

We have an opportunity for a reliable and energetic individual with a friendly can-do attitude to join our kitchen team at Coastal Villas Retirement Village, located in the heart of the Kapiti Coast. Come and help us deliver the best food service in the industry

In this position you will:

- support our chef with the preparation and service of the main lunch and evening meals for 75 residents.
- keep the kitchen clean and do dishes.
- Deliver meals to villa residents.
- Assist in the café.
- be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large, hot pots and trays.
- be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed attitude.
- be resilient and able to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment.
- Be available to work casual shifts as and when required across a 7 day roster (shift times could be 11am - 2pm, or 11am - 7pm).

Previous kitchen experience is preferred in order to hit the ground running, but training will be given to someone who possesses the right attitude and motivation.
