The Commission is going through an exciting period of growth, driven by increases in its functions, duties and powers. We are currently looking for an exceptionally organised Operations Support Officer to provide key project and operational support to the Commission. This is a permanent position based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.

Mō te tūranga | About the role
This is a fantastic entry level opportunity to start your career in the public sector. In this busy and varied role, you will provide efficient project support to our investigation and legal teams. On a day-to-day basis this could involve assisting with research, proof reading or preparing documents for our investigation teams, as well as picking up ad-hoc queries that come through to the Operations Support team. You will also be called on to provide general administrative support to the wider Commission.

Some of the key strengths you will bring to the role include an eye for detail, the ability to prioritise multiple pieces of work along with a positive can-do attitude. You will also have exceptional relationship management skills and impress others with your ability to use your initiative. Ideally, you'll be someone who is willing to take ownership, get involved where you can, and always be on the lookout for opportunities to add value.

While this role would suit a recent law graduate with some administration experience, this is not a requirement.
