The Ministry of Justice wants people to have better access to justice services and be able to deal with us easily and quickly. That means improving how we support the courts - the place where we have the most impact on people's lives.

This is an exciting time for the Ministry as we strive to reduce the time it takes to deliver our services to people.

We have a 1-year fixed term Team Leader position in the Auckland High Court. This operational and management role is all about driving performance through the development of our staff to deliver timely justice services to all customers of the court within specific jurisdictions. This vacancy will be responsible for managing up to 12 direct reports.

This is an exciting opportunity for proven people leaders and established line managers looking for a challenge.

You will be able to offer the following:

- Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and coaching staff for high performance.
- A focus on customers
- A knowledge of or strong interest in the Justice sector
- A relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
