**Key Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials to construct cabinets, furniture, and fixtures.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, routers, jointers, and sanders.
- Fit and install completed units in designated locations, ensuring precision, alignment, and high-quality finish.
- Repair or modify existing furniture and cabinetry as required.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in good condition and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project specifications and deadlines.

**Minimum Qualification and Work Experience Requirements**
- A relevant New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) Level 4 certificate; OR
- At least three years of relevant work experience

**Other Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
- Ability to interpret and work from detailed technical drawings.
- Knowledge of different types of wood, laminates, and hardware fittings.
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle materials and operate machinery safely.
