About the role

Due to substantial growth, we have exciting opportunities for STMS workers to join our South Island teams. Whether you are a local or considering moving to any of these locations, we want to hear from you We offer relocation assistance as well as accommodation support.

As our STMS, you will be responsible for managing all temporary traffic management of our roadworks contracts. You will champion a Zero-Harm culture as you ensure the effective protection of your team and road users as you coordinate the maintenance operation.

You will be a part of a team that designs, builds, and maintains 25,000kms worth of roads in Aotearoa. With over 150 years of projects and knowledge under our belts, our position is strong, and our vision is innovative and future focused (just like your career once you join us). What we are looking for

We are looking for are people who are great at building relationships, as these roles require a high level of comradery as you work within a collaborative network that contributes to building a better New Zealand. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
It is essential that you have Supervisory Traffic management experience
Relevant STMS qualifications / tickets
Strong communication skills
Energy and commitment to the job
An effective planner who is able to deliver quality
A strong sense of ownership
A Strong focus on site safety - you will ensure everyone gets home safe
