We have a fantastic opportunity for a senior financial crime professional with experience delivering transformational change to join our Financial Crime Operations (FCO) as **Senior Manager, Financial Crime Transformation & Delivery.** This is a critical tūranga (role) responsible for the implementation and delivery of the financial crime transformation roadmap to achieve our strategic ambition to be a market leading financial crime operations function. You will focus on the transformation agenda, including implementation of all aspects of a strategic target operating model. In return, you'll have the opportunity to play a significant part in helping to keep our ngā kiritaki (customers) and communities safe by helping to detect, deter and disrupt financial crime
**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
We sat down with our Head of Financial Crime Transformation & Delivery (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following about the tūranga:
**What are 5 day-to-day tasks the person will complete?**
- Shaping the transformation roadmap and then developing the design and delivery of key capabilities required to tautoko (support) the financial crime target operating model.
- Establishing a strong operating rhythm and ensuring strong governance across the end to end change programme.
- Working with key stakeholders, building consensus on changes required and tautoko the business through change including simplifying/enhancing processes and challenging as needed.
- Defining critical enablers for each component of the roadmap and in collaboration with Financial Crime Delivery Managers and other delivery partners.
- Coach and tautoko direct reports and delivery partners to manage the required change outcomes.

You will be working across Financial Crime Operations to help deliver target state business capabilities with a key focus on transactional services (including transaction monitoring, prescribed transaction reporting and payment screening).

We are looking for a delivery focused person with a strong focus on both execution and benefits realisation.
**What skills will the person have in order to be successful?**
- Significant understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering transformative change and achieving results in a highly complex regulated environment.
- Financial Crime and operational/ delivery experience.
- Knowledge of AML/CFT legislative requirements.
- Outstanding relationship skills including business networking, senior stakeholder management, engagement and influencing skills.
- Previous experience in coaching and developing a tīma.
- Previous experience delivering or leveraging advanced analytics (including Machine Learning) to achieve business outcomes and ownership of models is highly desirable.
- Exceptional risk management knowledge and experience.
