**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

The Ministry of Justice Te Tāhū o te Ture is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor to deliver end-to-end communication services across the Ministry.

You'll play a key role in providing expert strategic communications advice, crafting compelling content, and ensuring our messaging reaches the right audiences through the right channels.

In this role, you will:

- develop and implement communication plans that support Ministry priorities
- advise senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices
- create engaging content for internal and external audiences
- foster strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally
- support reputation management and ensure brand consistency.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**
- significant experience at a senior level, across the full range of the communications discipline
- the ability to assess, prioritise and appropriately support a wide-ranging work programme
- excellent time management, attention to detail and self-motivation
- exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with senior leaders
- an understanding of the machinery of government, and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency
- experience coaching and mentoring other communications professionals.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 and $135,539 based on skills and experience.
