Senior Communications Advisor | Wellington City The Ministry of Justice Te Tahu o te Ture is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor to deliver end-to-end communication services across the Ministry.
You'll play a key role in providing expert strategic communications advice, crafting compelling content, and ensuring our messaging reaches the right audiences through the right channels.
In this role, you will: develop and implement communication plans that support Ministry priorities advise senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices create engaging content for internal and external audiences foster strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally support reputation management and ensure brand consistency.
Reporting to the Manager Communications Delivery, in the Communications and Ministerial Services team, the successful candidate will demonstrate: significant experience at a senior level, across the full range of the communications discipline the ability to assess, prioritise and appropriately support a wide-ranging work programme excellent time management, attention to detail and self-motivation exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with senior leaders an understanding of the machinery of government, and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency experience coaching and mentoring other communications professionals.
