**Rātā Foundation** is South Island’s largest philanthropic funder. We grant around $20 million to invest in community organisations in Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson and the Chatham Islands each year.

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, this role is focussed on enhancing and managing the Foundation’s policies and procedures in the areas of Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance, while also developing, maintaining and evolving risk management strategies in line with the risk management framework. In addition this role will have other risk, assurance and compliance responsibilities as they relate to the procurement function, property/facilities management and workplace health & safety. As such this role offers a lot of involvement across all areas of the organisation and so provides a broader opportunity to learn and develop further.
