Open Table cafe in Ellerslie, Auckland currently looks for two hardworking and reliable Chef’s Assistants to join our busy team. Working hours is between 30 and 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $28.50 to $30 per hour.

**Required skills and attributes**:

- Able to start at **5.30am**; available to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit for heavy liftings and tasks that requires physical strength.
- Ability to learn fast and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- No qualification needed; previous experience is preferable but not essential.

**Y**our duties will include**:

- Prepare ingredients (thaw frozen items, cut meat, chop vegetables etc.)
- Weight and measure ingredients.
- Prepare sauces, dressings and savouries following recipes.
- Restock used items and assist with ordering food supplies.
- Check oven, cooking appliances and equipment to ensure everything works well.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, appliances, utensils, cutting boards etc.
- Pack food items and beverage for serving.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
