**Description**:

- Are you a hands-on leader ready to drive results in a fast-paced production environment? Dimond Roofing, a trusted name in roofing solutions, is seeking a Production Shift Manager, working Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm, to join our team in our Onehunga site.

As a Production Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our production facility in Onehunga. You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during your shift.
- Ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide coaching, training and development opportunities for your team and conduct regular performance reviews
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that arise during your shift.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and report on key performance indicators.
- Delivery and embedding of continuous improvement initiatives into our operation

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
