JDE is looking for a committed Production Specialist for our factory in Auckland to work on the day shift (7.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday) with (optional and paid) overtime when required. The Auckland factory is in a period of growth, therefore there will be plenty of opportunities to develop your skills across a range of machinery. This role is vital in ensuring a safe work environment, and the production of high-quality tea and coffee.

Key tasks will include:

- Operating machinery
- Manufacturing and packaging tea and coffee products to specifications
- Setting up machines and/or weighing scales (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Ensure raw materials accurately flow to the machines
- Fix any issues that might happen during the shift (including basic troubleshooting) or ask for help to problem solve
- Fill in paperwork - records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain high quality standards and aim for continuous improvement
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and make the best use of the space available
- Complete quality and production records in line with policies/procedures
- Report any issues/non-conformances & waste
- Labelling/tagging of bags and packing

**Qualifications**:
To be the best Production Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

- Production Operator experience (ideally within Food, Beverage or Pharma Industries)
- Track record of being able to safely and physically perform in a similar role (lifting and pushing required)
- Preferably a forklift licence
- Experience working in a fast-paced team
- Willingness to learn, grow and adapt as production needs change
- Availability for the day shift from 7.30am - 4.00pm on week days
