**Overview**

The Base in Hamilton is a popular destination and iconic landmark. With the expertise of joint owner Kiwi Property applied to this outstanding retail centre, the position involves leading a busy marketing calendar spanning the full marketing mix. The team is lively and enthusiastic; they constantly push the boundaries to achieve great results and are seeking an equally innovative, motivated and energetic Marketing Manager at The Base to continue delighting their customers.

**Position**

Responsible for enticing customers to The Base; to shop, dine, play and enjoy the range of dynamic activities throughout the centre - no days will strictly follow your plans, and that’s what makes it so exciting. The role requires creating and managing the strategies and exceptional customer interactions offering the scope to deliver amazing work, making a direct impact on your brands’ presence. Reporting to the Centre Manager and working collaboratively with the National Marketing Manager and wider team, this role involves all aspects of the marketing mix within a result focused and fast paced environment.

**Person**

The star that we are looking for will have proven marketing experience managing end to end campaigns, and budgets. You are highly creative, commercially savvy and excited by the opportunity to drive high engagement with the centre. You will also be hungry for success, willing to go above and beyond in all your engagements - from creating and effecting strategies, to being customer facing and in the thick of it when needed. Adaptability to change, resilience and the ability to work autonomously is critical. Your experience is likely to be from a high energy marketing environment as you will have learnt the importance of speed, innovation and keeping things fresh in a competitive market.
