About the Role
As a Practice Lead you'll take ownership of all solutions and activities in your client base with a three tier approach to daily activities, focus on staff, focus on customer, focus on delivery. Great variety day to day and a chance to grow and develop your career with us.

**Some of the key focus areas for the Practice Lead include**:
Being responsible for Project Delivery
Assisting the Sales and presales team with bid managing RFx responses and estimating project management activities
Responsible for transition Managing new customers and services
Internal governance, auditing and monitoring
Leadership and ensuring the engagement of your team

**What you will bring**:

- Broad and deep understanding of Data and Analytics projects and related technology dependencies including Data Warehouse principles and Modern Data Platform Components
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of Project Management disciplines
- Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation and project revenue.
- Strong business acumen
- Keen team player and a ‘people person’ with previous, proven leadership experience
- Managing Agile Deliverables
- Proven negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written Communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong consultative planning skills
- A minimum of 10 years of Data Warehouse Experience

Technical capabilities
Data platform architecture principles (at least Azure)
Experience delivering end-2-end D&A solutions from landscape design and establishment (for greenfield customers) to solution implementation.
Technology experience should be with all of the Azure D&A components, incl. ADF, Databricks, Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse, MS Power BI
Background in enterprise data warehousing and strong data modelling skills
Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure design, especially with regards to Azure Data and Analytics services
a. Creation of solutions/packaged services to take to market
b. Growth of Azure D&A capability within the practice
c. Pre-sales support
