Contract opportunity for a 2* IT Coordinator based in Auckland

**Your new role**

As an IT Support professional, your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth operations by addressing IT-related issues promptly. You’ll collaborate with local and regional teams, handle Helpdesk support, perform system checks, update documentation, and respond to incoming tickets and messages.
- Partner with the business on IT-related issues in New Zealand.
- Proactively manage key IT site projects and serve as a go-to person for IT solutions.
- Collaborate with the ANZ IT team, supporting staff across ANZ via a WAN. Independently oversee site IT requirements.
- Lead ticket management in ServiceNow, ensuring accurate closure and assignment. Escalate level 3 issues globally and work closely with colleagues to resolve them. Document helpdesk calls and updates.
- Configure, install, and maintain PCs, notebooks, printers, and network hardware. Handle network password resets.
- Monitor backups for the company’s Data Centre. Collaborate with global teams to address backup-related issues.
- Assist local and regional teams with server system administration and vendor support.
- Support IT Manager in hardware planning and placement.
- Monitor UPS systems.
- Assist APAC Network team with network upgrades and faults. Attend APAC Helpdesk meetings.
- Conduct IT induction sessions for new users, ensuring timely hardware provision.
- Manage file permissions, sharing, and data encryption. Monitor server space.
- Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Fujitsu, Dell, Upstream, Mobile Networks) to enhance network infrastructure.
- Maintain consistency in Active Directory (AD) groups, computers, and users. Audit distribution lists.
- Ensure the server room and IT offices are well-maintained.
- Assisting staff with software issues e.g. O365 products

**What you'll need to succeed**
- ITIL Certification is preferred.
- Outstanding skills with the Office 365 suite of products.
- Your position may require you to participate in on-call work. If you are on call you are required to be available for immediate return to work outside your normal and regular work pattern. Should this be a requirement of your position, you will be remunerated per the Company’s policy.
