Tabarik Enterprises Limited T/A De Grand Thai Restaurant is located in central Auckland. We provide top-class Thai food for tourists and local business people. We now need a Restaurant Manager to help us provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. The salary range is $29.66 to $31.61.

The job involves the following tasks and duties:

- Coordinating the overall operation of the restaurant
- Ensuring the delivery of superior customer services
- Taking reservation and orders, and arrange functions when needed.
- Receiving customer feedback and making necessary improvement to the operation of the restaurant
- Converse good understanding in handling problems to ensure smooth operation between the kitchen and restaurant.
- To promote our restaurant in the market
- Planning menus and prices
- Participating in the selection and training of new staff.
- Organizing staff rotation and supervising staff performance
- Estimating consumption, controlling cost, and advising on making a budget
- Managing stock levels and arranging supplies
- Maintaining records of transactions
- Maintaining a positive working environment
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety legislation/guidelines

To qualify for the job, you need ot have 3 years of relevant work experience, or a Diploma or above business qualification, or a Bachelor’s Degree in any major. You should have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours. You should also have good interpersonal skills in order to coordinate duties in the kitchen.
