**The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa**

As an Environmental Advisor, you will be responsible for onsite environmental management.

In your role you will manage environmental inspections, monitoring, and controls, to ensure the works have the least impact on the environment.

This role requires the flexibility to be mobile as working on projects outside the general location of work will be required.This role will require you to guide and encourage a range of people from diverse backgrounds, driving environmental excellence in the delivery of the project. An ideal position for individuals who are looking to further their career in environmental management in civil construction.

**Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua**

Ideally, you will have the following:

- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering or related disciplines
- 2-5 years’ experience in construction, environmental management, regional/local government or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- A strong sense of commitment and initiative, willingness to learn, as well as the ability to work well under pressure
