We are looking for a **casual Teacher Support** to join our Early Childcare Centre to support our registered teachers with the care and wellbeing of the children in our Centre.

YMCA Taranaki Childcare Centre is a Community Childcare Centre licensed for 49 children - 19 under 2s and 30 over 2.

**Our ideal new team member will have a passion and commitment to providing the highest standard of care with the following attributes: -**

*A calm and caring nature
*A passion for educating, caring and teaching through play
*Collaborative team player and great role model
*Energetic and a sense of humour
*An excellent communicator (written and verbal)
*Display a high level of initiative
*Establish and maintain relationships
*Previous experience working in an early childcare centre preferred.
*Flexibility to work rostered hours between 7.00 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday

YMCA Taranaki is committed to Child Protection and the safeguarding of children and young people in our care and it is our expectation that all staff will operate in a way that reflects this intent. As such we adhere to the requirements under the Children’s Act, ie police vetting and references.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
