**YMCA Taranaki Childcare Centre**is a Community Childcare Centre licensed for 49 children - 19 under 2s and 30 over 2.

We are looking for a **casual Teacher Support** to join our Early Childcare Centre to support our registered teachers with the care and wellbeing of the children in our Centre.

Our ideal new team member will have a passion and commitment to providing the highest standard of care with the following attributes:

- Experience working with young children.
- A passion for young children to include educating, caring and teaching through play.
- Trustworthy, honest, punctual and has integrity
- Happy, cheerful and enthusiastic personality.
- Innovative and demonstrates initiative.
- Ability to learn and participate in professional development.
- An excellent communicator.
- Is empathetic and community minded.
- Has vitality and is self-motivated.
- A collaborative team player and a great role model.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships.
- A sense of humour.
- Confident and competent in Microsoft Word.
- Previous experience working in an early childcare centre preferred.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours between 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
