**Let’s talk about the roles and responsibilities**

**As a Data Architect, you are responsible to leading the migration and optimization of Tableau to Power BI for reporting, ensuring compatibility, performance, and compliance. With 10+ years of experience, you'll audit and enhance existing dashboards, map features between platforms, and collaborate with senior stakeholders. A focus on data governance and financial services is key, along with designing a strategic migration plan for seamless reporting improvements.**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Audit existing Tableau workbooks to identify redundant, outdated, or underutilized reports.**:

- **Assess data sources for compatibility and quality before migration to Power BI.**:

- **Map Tableau features (calculated fields, visualizations) to Power BI equivalents.**:

- **Evaluate dashboard performance and identify optimization opportunities.**:

- **Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.**:

- **Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting goals and business needs.**:

- **Design a migration strategy including timelines, resources, and risk mitigation.**:

- **Document assessment findings to guide migration and future reporting improvements.**

**Required Experience**:

- **Deep Tableau and/or PowerBI knowledge**:

- **Knowledge of Data Architecture approaches, as well as Data Engineering functions and methods**:

- **Ability to work with senior stakeholders**:

- **Facilitation skills**:

- **Financial Services experience preferred**:

- **Knowledge of data governance and compliance in the banking sector**:

- **10 years experience solutioning reporting capabilities**
