As the Drainlayer Working Supervisor based in Richmond you will be responsible for undertaking capital works projects, ensuring project deadlines are met. You will follow budgets and liase with clients and the public, ensuring all staff and subcontractors are kept safe at all time.
- Installation of Water mains, maintain good hygiene practices
- Training of junior Downer staff members
- Works with other contracts, local authority
- Daily reports on repairs carried out
- Support, implement an adhere to a H&S policies and procedures

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

Along with a positive attitude and your commitment to safe worksite practises, you will be an adaptable multitasker with excellent communication skills. A strong focus on safety and quality.
- Preferable to have several years’ experience with project works and reticulated 3 waters
- Experience drain / pipe laying
- Skills with small machinery. Preferably experienced in small engine repair
- Time management skills
- Must have initiative and good decision making skills. Both financial and operational
- Traffic management skills desirable
- Preferred current Class 2 driver’s license minimum Class 1, WTR
