Harvest Supervisor

IFS Growth, a leading light in profitable, sustainable and safe forestry in New Zealand, has a fantastic opportunity for a Harvest Supervisor to join their team in sunny Nelson. In this highly varied role you will be responsible for the management and supervision of forestry crews, harvest and earthworks planning, road construction and the post operation clean-up of client forests.
- Have 5+ years’ experience in the forestry industry
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
- Are proficient in field auditing, data capturing and quoting of harvesting blocks
- Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Can work collaboratively with colleagues as an effective team member
- Have a sound, practical understanding of EH&S in the forestry industry and familiarity working with EH&S apps
- Can effectively generate leads and help grow our business
- Supervisory experience, preferably in harvesting, EH&S and/or earthworks
