**Location** : Auckland Airport, Auckland.

Our client is a specialist ground engineering and civil construction company known for delivering complex and technically challenging projects across New Zealand and the South Pacific. They invest in their people, equipment, and systems. The team is now seeking a Leading Hand to join their crew based at Auckland Airport.**The Role**

We are looking for an individual with exceptional initiative to lead and support the drainage team. As the Leading Hand, you should possess the determination and autonomy to step up when needed and actively participate in hands-on tasks, whether it be jumping into the trenches to lend a hand, laying pipes, or installing manholes. You will provide guidance to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to schedules, all while upholding the high security standards essential for airport work.
- The Scope of Work:
- Civil works
- General site operations
- Utilities management
- Pavement renewals

Working Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional half-day Saturdays
- **To be successful, you will have the following**:

- Full Class 1
- Relevant qualification or certification
- Current Site Safe Passport
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must pass a background check and drug & alcohol testing due to additional airport security.
