Installation of wastewater and stormwater drainage infrastructure - minimum $29.66 per hour.

At Rockhard Civil and Drainage, we specialize in high-quality civil and drainage work, and we’re looking for the right people to join our crew. We work all around Auckland, but our office is based in Hobsonville.

If you’ve got a strong work ethic and don't mind getting your hands dirty (it is working in sewerage after all), then we want to hear from you. Minimum $29.66 per hour.
- What You’ll Be Doing:
Hands-On Tasks: From loading and unloading construction materials and tools to mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete, bedding, and backfill.
Erecting and Dismantling Temporary Structures: Barricades, safety barriers, and other structures.
Digging, Shoveling, and Spreading.
Assisting with Piping Installations.
- What You Need:
Experience in civil and drainage construction (or the drive to learn and grow).
Physical Fitness: This job requires lifting, climbing, and moving around - so good physical condition is essential.
Safety First: You’ll need to understand and follow safety protocols, from site rules to the latest safety documentation. We take health and safety seriously and expect you too as well.
A Good Attitude: You’ll need to be proactive, able to work independently, but also be a team player.
Communication Skills: Whether you’re talking to the crew or responding to supervisors, we need clear, positive, and professional communication.

Have 1-2 years minimum experience (preferred)
Be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test (essential)
Have a minimum Type 1 license (essential)
No Criminal Convictions (preferred)
Possess mechanical knowledge for minor maintenance tasks (preferred)
Have their Site Safe/Construct Safe certificates (essential)
Being able to get themselves to and from site(s) across Auckland - Huntly, Pokeno, Eastern Busways etc. (Licence essential as well as reliable transport)
