**What you’ll be doing**
We’re looking for a full time Senior Process Development Engineer to join our engineering Development team.
This role will be responsible for leading the technical design, development and commercialisation of new medical devices and manufacturing processes as required to deliver the development objectives and milestones of the company.
**_Key responsibilities: _**
- Leading and supporting development activities such as design of experiments, statistical process control activities, the implementation of medical device industry risk management methodology
- Design, implementation, documentation and execution of process validation activities within the quality system framework
- Assisting with the development, prototyping and refinement of the design of medical devices
- Identifying, selecting and implementing new systems as required to support the development of new medical devices.
- Foster strong and productive working relationships across all stakeholders, including internal and external partners, suppliers and service providers.
- Nurture an environment of self-reflection and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the team.Play an active role and influence the company's growth ambitions.
**What you’ll bring**
- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience driving and leading engineering activities within a 13485 QMS Framework.
- Experience in the design, development and implementation of processes and process equipment.
- Practical ‘Can do’ attitude with a high attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Excellent English communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to work across various technical disciplines.
- A sound understanding of 3D modelling software such as SOLIDWORKS or other similar CAD software for the purposes of product and equipment design.
- Experience with the implementation of Risk management with the context of medical devices
- Ability to problem-solve, critical thinking and perseverance.
- Adapts quickly, embraces change and is flexible and agile.
- Ability to produce and review technical documentation and communicate complex technical information.
- Open mind to learn & develop new technical skills.
You will have an innovative and creative mind with the ability to work well with ambiguity and understand the wider view. You will also have excellent verbal and written English communication with the ability to articulate ideas easily.
Based in Airport Oaks with easy access to the motorway, there is plenty of parking available around our offices. Our teams are flexible, with a mix of being in office + working from home. We also have an on-site gym, which is available for individual use, or jump in to one of our bootcamp or yoga classes.
