**About New Zealand Blood Service**

New Zealand Blood Service was created to provide the people of New Zealand with safe, appropriate, and timely access to blood and related services to meet their health needs. They have sole responsibility for collecting, processing, and distributing blood throughout New Zealand. Through the generosity of other New Zealanders, they are able to help save lives. **About the role**

On the other end of the spectrum to dispatch, the second remit involves management of the inwards goods warehouse function. Working in a complex multi temperature and highly regulated environment you will be responsible for quality control inspection of inbound goods, stock control processes and provide effective stores management of fast moving consumables used in all departments. This will again require outstanding communication, organisation and leadership skills.

**About you**

You'll excel in the following areas;
Team leadership - managing a tight knit team working in each of the two functions, inspiring a culture of accountability and fairness.

Communication and interpersonal skills - liaising and collaborating with a number of internal and external stakeholders.

Relationship management and service delivery - being a key liaison point and a frontline representative of the NZ Blood Service.

Decision making, problem solving and analysis - leading with confidence and accuracy in a fast-paced, critical environment.

Quality, compliance and continuous improvement - highly regulated field where efficiency, accuracy, H&S and compliance are non-negotiable.
