**You**:
This busy operational role requires an individual who can balance day to day demands, while identifying gaps and implementing improvements in how we operate.

To be successful in this role you’ll offer:

- In-depth stores & purchasing experience
- Confidence dealing with commercial contracts
- Stock/store management, ideally in an industrial engineering environment
- People management experience and ability to motivate your team members would also be beneficial

**Key Responsibilities**:
Managing our Stores and Logistics activities, the role will primarily focus is on Purchasing & Receipting, Stock Management, Forklift Operations, Deliveries, and Facilities Maintenance & Management.

Responsibilities include:

- Time-critical national and international purchasing
- Active involvement and overseeing of general purchasing, stock management and day to day management of the Stores operations
- Support the bedding-in of our new purchasing and inventory/stock management software
- Spend and stock analysis identifying cost savings and implementing process changes where appropriate
- End of period stock reconciliation, and financial month end process management
