**The opportunity**:
At KS Holdings, we focus on the varied and innovative use of steel in all aspects of the building industry from Trading, Manufacturing, Processing, Distribution through to Installation. We support seven independent business, focusing on all aspects of HR, Recruitment, Payroll & H&S across these businesses.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our HR team as Payroll & HR Coordinator.

This role will be responsible for running our weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls complying to the government legislations as well as coordinating a range of different areas within the company’s HR functions.

Working closely with the HR Manager, this role will be exposed to the full range of people processes and functions. You will be a vibrant and motivated individual with strong communication skills and a passion to support the business and its people.

The likelihood of progression towards more responsibility and growth is extensive. The idea is for this role to develop and evolve and will only be limited by your own drive

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Owning the payroll function within the group
- Maintaining and updating employee records
- Generating employment agreements, variations, job descriptions and other relevant documents
- Providing ad hoc support to all employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding / offboarding, performance reviews and ER

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll, ideally with Zambion HRIS
- Exposure within HR practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite
- A knack with data and a keen eye to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Hunger to develop; what you don’t know, you want to seek out and learn
- Ability to adapt and prioritise multiple tasks and projects

Applicants must be able to work in NZ legally.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
