**Description**:
inMusic develops world leading software and hardware for professional DJs, producers and musicians. As a company we are focused on progression and innovation so we are on the hunt for some talented testers who want to contribute to the next generation of audio software products.

Based in Auckland, we are a growing team that is on the look-out for software testers who bring a great level of experience with them. Ideally you will have a keen interest in music technology, DJing or Production to complement your solid background in testing. In return, you will get to work with a great team of people actively testing new products and features on the worlds leading DJ brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and execute detailed test plans for new products.
- Maintain software quality for existing products.
- Maintain testing status/progress using standard bug tracking tools.
- Advise approval of final code/hardware components.
- Create FAQ, release notes, and support materials for end-user support groups.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- An excellent standard of QA and testing with 1-3 years testing experience
- Experience working within a agile team
- Experience seeing the full SDLC of a feature or product
- Knowledge of database systems / SQL
- Manual and automated software testing experience (automation experience is desirable)
- UX / customer focussed testing approach
- Good technical investigative skills
- Experience in triaging, prioritising and organising defects
- Strong documentation and issue reporting skills
- Commitment to continued personal development

Great skills to have:

- A degree in computer science or related field
- DJ, musician or producer
- Knowledge of lighting control systems or audio processing software
