Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify test requirements, clarify user stories, and understand the system’s goals.

Write and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Conduct manual and automated testing across various platforms, including web, mobile, and API testing.

Perform regression, performance, integration, and security testing to identify and resolve issues.

Analyze test results, report bugs, and collaborate with development teams to ensure swift resolution.

Support the implementation and maintenance of continuous integration (CI) pipelines with automated testing.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and work within Agile development cycles to ensure continuous feedback and improvement.

Monitor software quality metrics and ensure timely reporting of test coverage and defect trends.

Foster a safe, compliant work environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all testing activities.

Skills & Experience:
1+ years of experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer.

Strong experience in manual and automated testing practices and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, jMeter, ZAP, TOSCA).

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

Knowledge of CI/CD practices and integration of testing into DevOps pipelines.

Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Quality Center).

Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with security testing principles and practices.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and testing in cloud-based environments is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate testing issues clearly and collaborate across teams.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
