**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
As a Programme Coordinator, you will grow your career in a future focused, innovative and inclusive team reporting to the Manager Data Strategy and Governance. The DSG team sits within Data Strategy and Knowledge branch, and is responsible for driving uplift in MBIE’s enterprise data strategy, data governance capability and data leadership, leading thinking on our response to the wider All of Government data system, and the delivery of the Empowered by Data Roadmap

You will be working closely with teams and work programmes across Data Strategy and Knowledge, Data Insights and Intelligence, broadly across DDI, and with the Empowered by Data delivery programme.

Your work week will be varied and rewarding. You’ll provide co-ordination support to our work programme and initiatives, including our cross-agency activities. You’ll perform secretariat services to several governance groups and important networks such as the Data Science Review Board and our evolving Data Stewards Network. You’ll help out with planning and reporting, organising meetings and stakeholder engagement activities, and administrative support for the team and work programme

**We are keen to hear from you if you have**:

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop fit for purpose, innovative systems, processes and documentation.
- Strong written, visual and oral communication skills and ability to summarize and convey key points from information.
- Strong appreciation and understanding of the criticality of robust secretariat services to governance groups.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and collaborative skills.
- Experience in project or programme management, administration or related area
- Interest in the rapidly evolving role of data and information in enabling innovative services and impactful decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt within a fast-moving environment and learn new systems and approaches.
