Payment Officer

Come and develop your skills as the Payments Officer in our future focussed accounts team. In this role you’ll work as part of the Vendor Payments Team who are responsible for ensuring all vendors are paid in time, accurately and inline with the Foodstuffs North Island Vendor terms.

In this role you’ll:

- Ensure payment cycles are completed as per FSNI standards
- Prepare payment proposals
- Ensure supporting documentation for all payments is provided
- Manage prompt payment process
- Ensure all data is reported accurately to enable process improvement
- Support Payments Controller and the wider Payments team
- Build relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide active communication with Treasury to minimise negative impact on cash-flow

**About you**

With a strong knowledge of accounting systems and experience with SAP, you’ll have advanced Excel and will have well developed analytical and numerical ability. With experience in a complex fast-moving environment, you’ll have excellent planning and communications skills and will be confident collaborating with others in the team.
