We have an exciting new opportunity for an Energy Manager to join our team at the Kate Valley and Gareth James Energy Park based in North Canterbury.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for directing and co-ordinating operations and assets at the Energy Park and Landfill in a new and additional role. The existing team are well versed in the operation of the current gas collection and energy generation equipment and this role has been developed to compliment the skills of the team and bolster resources in the drive towards a more sustainable future.

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- Support the existing team with additional leadership to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Planning and execution of operations to meet Health, Safety and environmental expectations
- Supporting the Regional Manager to review alternative green energy opportunities to become more sustainable and minimise net carbon.
- Oversee gas monitoring, leachate and generator management and installation and maintenance of gas field pipe work.
- Budget and Capex preparation, programme, implementation and monitoring expenditures.
- Planning of routine maintenance on the generation plant, gas flares, the leachate evaporation unit and the gas extraction system.
