You will play a vital role in providing critical support to the redevelopment of roads and infrastructure that received devastating damage through the Tairawhiti region. You’ll be someone who can lead the frontline and be responsible for ensuring that a positive, Zero Harm culture is maintained. You will also make sure key customer and stakeholder relationships are nurtured, whilst creating a collaborative and "best for network" environment across your projects. - Assist in the selection, coaching and development of staff. - Arrange, direct and monitor activities of subcontractors to ensure their work meets project objectives and requirements. - Advise and assist with programming of plant repairs and maintenance. **Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills** - A proven track record of supervising teams and subcontractors in a range of maintenance/construction activities - The ability to drive projects, managing relationships and activity to achieve targets (deadlines, costing, resourcing etc.) - Demonstrated leadership behaviours that empower others - Experience in tracking and reporting on project cost - A focus and passion for keeping people and the environment safe **Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation** Want to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
