We’re looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner to join our Logistics and Distribution Centres team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in fostering a safer, healthier work environment for our team of more than 800 staff, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and risk reduction.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:
You will help drive the execution of key safety initiatives and collaborate closely with teams across the business to make sure our team members arrive home healthy and safe at the end of their day. The role helps ensure continuous improvement of safety standards and practices, while fostering a culture where safety is always the top priority.

Your day-to-day will involve:

- Managing and executing high-priority safety projects across our supply chain, ensuring safe practices are maintained and critical timelines are met.
- Contributing management of critical safety risks and proactively developing strategies to enhance safety culture and reduce incidents.
- Implementing lead indicators to improve injury rates and embedding key safety projects, including contractor management and safety assessments.
- Partnering with teams across the business to ensure safe design planning and operational safety standards are integrated into supply chain activities.
- Collaborating with senior leaders and key stakeholders to manage complex safety programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of the annual Health, Safety & Wellbeing plan, contributing to all strategic and tactical initiatives across our supply chain.
- Promoting continuous improvement by identifying safety gaps and driving change to achieve best-in-class safety practices.

Qualifications

About You:
You’re a seasoned Health and Safety professional with a deep understanding of the unique challenges within a supply chain environment. With a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, you thrive in a role where you can drive change and deliver tangible outcomes.

Your strengths include:

- Extensive experience in Health and Safety within supply chain, logistics, or distribution environments.
- Proven ability to manage and implement health and safety projects, including contractor management, safety culture initiatives, and risk assessments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different teams and leadership levels.
- A customer-centric, continuous improvement mindset, ensuring that safety measures evolve to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, educate, and influence all levels of the organization.
