**About the role**
- We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to support the Health & Safety requirements of Forman Commercial Interiors on the New Zealand International Convention Centre Project (NZICC). In this role, you will work alongside the team to maintain a proactive, safety focused culture where employees play an active role in the Health & Safety of the organisation. You will ensure that our workplace maintains the highest professional Health & Safety standards and complies with all relevant legislation.

If you enjoy fast paced operating environments, with the opportunity to make your mark working alongside great people, then this is the role for you. This is an intermediate position that would suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.

**About You**
- You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business and must be a team player.

You will hold a professional qualification in the Health & Safety field and be knowledgeable on current trends and practices in Health & Safety legislation with proven experience in a Health & Safety role. Relevant experience within the construction industry is desirable.

- Have good ability to negotiate and influence outcomes with managers and staff at all levels
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Completes tasks to a high standard and take pride in
- Respond appropriately to different situations, people, and ideas
- Willing to take on new tasks and activities and uses initiative
- Ability to understand the impact of H&S on the delivery of project services in a business environment
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be a team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
