Senior Analyst Programmer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Analyst Programmer to join our growing team. You will work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements, design, and build and support data-driven software solutions.
About the role:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes and database architecture
- Perform complex data analysis and manipulation using SQL and other tools (Python, R, etc.)
- Build statistical models, machine learning algorithms and data visualisations to uncover trends and patterns
- Develop integrations using MuleSoft, API or similar technology
- Deliver interactive dashboards, reports and presentations with clear data interpretations
- Identify and integrate new data sources to empower expanded analytics use
- Collaborate with and mentor other team members and improve team skills through knowledge-sharing
What will you bring?
- 5+ years’ experience manipulating, analysing and interpreting complex data sets and/or
- Expert proficiency with SQL and experience with Python or R (or similar) and/or
- Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and/or
- Strong understanding of and experience with integration technologies and API development patterns and/or
- Experience with analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc. and/or
- Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines on AWS and Azure platform (or similar) and/or
- Hands-on experience with data platforms like (not restricted to) Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, etc. and/or
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability and/or
- Being a team player
- And/or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, mathematics or related quantitative field.
The role is based in Wellington, NZ.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
