With continued growth across our city, Upper Hutt City Compliance Services Team is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join us. We are customer focused and require someone who is able to triage problems and resolve them whilst ensuring that legislative requirements are met.
As the Compliance Services Administrator you will play an important role working within the Compliance Services team to ensure that core services are delivered to a high standard. Primarily you will be responsible for ensuring that administrative tasks for environmental health and parking services are completed in a timely manner to high quality standards. In addition, the team is focussed on continuous improvement and finding solutions to challenges that arise in our agile environment.
The Compliance Services Team is experiencing increased work volumes and is focussed on progressively improving how we function. The Compliance Services Administrator is a position that has an opportunity to shape and influence how we deliver services and undertake our internal processes.
The primary role of the Compliance Services Administrator is to provide a range of administrative services to the Compliance Services division for the following functions: environmental health, animal management, parking services and general bylaws. Operating in an agile environment requires a solution-focussed mindset that is critical for success in this role.
**Key responsibilities in this broad role include**:
Provide team support including drafting and maintaining internal process documentation
Managing the lifecycle of complaints through to resolution,
Drafting correspondence, collating information
Maintaining Compliance web pages with current information
Word processing and desktop publishing support
**To be considered for this role we are ideally looking for**:
Experienced administrator comfortable with consolidating information and producing high quality reporting.
Comfortable with learning and navigating a variety of different software packages.
Problem solving mindset that focusses on understanding the problem, formulating options and delivering solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with people throughout the organisation, and external advisers.
Excellent Customer Service skills
Familiar with operating in a fast-paced changing environment.
Advanced IT Microsoft skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database and PowerPoint.
Previous experience with MAGIQ Software would be advantageous.
