**Job Description**:

We're looking for a _Manager, Asset Planning and Strategy_ to manage and lead the Asset Planning and Strategy team who are responsible for the development of Asset Management Plans and Asset Operation Maintenance Investment Strategies across the First Gas Group of companies. We are looking for someone who can look at our business operations and bring new innovate thinking to our approach. You will have a high influence on the decisions that set the short to long term plans for our Capital Investment, Operational Activities and Maintenance Strategies across our business units.
You can expect to:
- Undertake Strategic Asset Management
- Ensure alignment of Operational Activities with the Strategic Plans
- Develop Technical/Asset Management and Investment Strategies
- Ensure Compliance with Statutory Obligations
- Lead a small talented team
This role can be based in Wellington, New Plymouth or Auckland.
**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in an engineering or related discipline
- Proficiency in infrastructure asset management disciplines
- Ability to influence, lead and manage skilled technical and non-technical staff
- People leadership experience

- Exceptional relationship building skills
