We are seeking a vibrant, highly motivated Nurse Lead to join the team at Owhata Medical Centre where delivering Whānau centric care is at the heart of what we do

We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about their patients and is passionate about empowering a community to improve its health outcomes.

**_ What we offer:_**
- This is currently a full-time position but if that doesn't suit you, let's talk We may be able to offer some flexibility in hours.
- No night shifts or weekend work as our practice is open from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
- Competitive hourly rate which is above standard MECA rates

**_To be successful in this role you will:_**
- Be a qualified Nurse with a current annual practising certificate (APC)
- Have experience within the Primary Health Care sector
- Be an independent vaccinator & cervical smear taker
- Have an understanding of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori and other cultural competencies
- Have the ability to maintain high standards of clinical services
- Be flexible, adaptable and keep your cool in a busy team environment
- Be computer literate with experience in PMS, MS Office
- Have strong communication skills - both written and oral
- Be organised, and have good time management skills
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
