**About the role**

To provide support to the Manager Operations in the control and maintenance of equipment, vehicles and Campus grounds, buildings, fixtures and fittings.

**About you**

With proven experience in a related role or maintenance work, you'll be proactive, possess initiative and be able to work unsupervised. You'll possess the physical ability to lift and light to moderately heavy objects (up to 20kg) and the ability to use small machinery and minor equipment safely. i.e. water blaster, drills. An NZ Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (Carpentry), or equivalent or related field would be advantageous. You'll need to have a full NZ Driver's License and clean driving record. In addition, a P class endorsement or the ability to obtain one would be preferred. Basic Microsoft Office computer skills are required. As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
