Since Riviera Hardware Holdings inception in 2009, where we started out with a small local Mitre 10 store in Warkworth, we have grown to be the largest group of stores within the Mitre 10 national network. We are proud to offer our customers a shopping experience like no other in New Zealand’s largest hardware retail store; Mitre 10 MEGA Albany as well as New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparoa and Silverdale, boast Columbus Coffee shops. We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant.

**We have several **_part-time_** positions available on the shop floor at Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn with various shift patterns.**
- _ These shift patterns range from 6 to 30 hours per week. Some start from 7am and some end at 7pm and most include at least 1 weekend day._
- We are on the lookout for team members to assist us in various departments to deliver exceptional customer service to customers, assisting customers in choosing products according to their needs and budget turning their dreams into reality. We are currently recruiting in the following areas:

- Front End (including _checkouts (_process transactions including cash, eftpos, credit cards and gift vouchers) and _customer services_ (refunds, exchanges, returns, faulty goods repair, special orders, click and collect and home delivery.
- Seasonal (heating and cooling products, outdoor furniture, barbeques, camping and related accessories).
- Gardens (indoor gardens, garden hardware ranging from wheelbarrow’s to ride-on mowers, fertilizers and pest control).
- Paint (colour choices and finishes, mixes stains, paints, and other coatings).

**The duties of this role**:

- Provide information on products, across features & benefits and price ranges.
- Answer questions and queries from customers and make recommendations where appropriate.
- Replenish stock, ensuring appropriate and attractive presentation in all merchandise displays, including correct ticketing and location, to maximize sales potential.

**Our ideal applicant**:

- Stock integrity awareness and merchandising standards (essential)
- Physically fit and capable with no restrictions on lifting or handling (preferred).
- Previous cash handling experience (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
- Ability to fulfil part-time roster pattern.
