We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as Food & Beverage Team Leader at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium Auckland

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring and supporting profitable and smooth operations of F & B outlets, in cooperation with admissions
- Merchandising, ordering and stocking the outlets to maximise best product sales
- Training your team on up-selling, food hygiene and merchandising
- Ensuring cleanliness of stockrooms and surrounding areas
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guests have a memorable experience
- Motivate and support staff to ensure maximum engagement of team
- Shared responsibility to cover duty manager shifts

This is a full-time fixed term contract covering a maternity leave, working Tuesday - Sunday.

**About You**

A passion for working in the tourism/attraction industry is essential to any of our roles. To shine in this position you will also have:

- Previous experience with handling cash, processing transactions and strong numeracy skills.
- Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Proven ability to problem solve and use initiative
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- First aid certificate
- Fire safety training
