**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The new national Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) senior leadership team is being established within Te Whatu Ora. This leadership group will support the development and implementation of Te Whatu Ora's P&SC operating model which is _Nationally-led, and Delivered Nationally, Regionally and Locally._
Join our Procurement & Supply Chain team in the key role of National Manager, Data & Insights. This is an opportunity to lead Procurement & Supply Chain's data and business intelligence capability. You'll be joining the team at time of transformation, where the insights from your data will contribute to the future of health by informing decision making. A key piece of mahi in this role will be the development of a robust national data platform and environment.
Day-to-day you will be coordinating the data governance and management programme, overseeing the performance framework, tracking performance improvement, and providing sound advice to leaders across the wider organisation.
**Mōu | About you**
You are an experienced business intelligence professional who has experience in leading a data & insights function, preferably within a health system environment.
Your career to date has given you a deep knowledge of data governance and data standards and how these can be applied in a business context. You come with a tool kit of business intelligence techniques, methods and frameworks that you can roll out in any context.
You'll be an adept communicator who is able to engage with customers and stakeholders inside and outside Te Whatu Ora, sharing best practices and developing new capability. Confident working in an ambiguous environment where processes are in flux, you know how to lead during times of change. You understand the significance of your obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi when it comes to data sovereignty.

**You will have**:
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
- At least 3 years leading a team
- Ideally, experience with, or exposure to, the health context in Aotearoa
