80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE)

Our department is large enough to provide variety and depth of work experience, with good support and supervision, yet small enough to be a friendly team with good social interaction.

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician (Aseptic Services and General Pharmacy) to join our team in the Hawke's Bay Hospital Pharmacy Department.

You'll be responsible for:

- Providing technician support to the pharmacy service, including but not limited to:

- Ordering and receipting of medicines, specifically in relation to aseptically produced products
- Dispensing medicines to hospital inpatients and clinic patients
- Maintaining medicine supply to ward imprests
- Supporting the planning and preparation of products within the Sterile Production Unit alongside the Aseptic Services team (compounding performed by appropriately trained Pharmacists)
