**Contract**: Permanent, Full-time 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)

**Korero mō te tūranga| About the role**

Due to service expansion, we have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay.

As an integral member of our Pharmacy team, you will be involved in tasks such as:

- Timely and efficient of supply of medicines to wards via impresting processes
- Maintenance of medications in automatic dispensing cabinets
- Dispensing of inpatient and outpatient prescriptions
- Contribute to the cost-effective use of medicines and reduce waste of pharmaceuticals

We have a team of Clinical Pharmacists who work on the acute wards, as well as a supportive team of Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person with excellent communication skills, a strong team focus and desire to provide a quality service.

You will ideally hold a NZ qualification as a Pharmacy Technician.
