Based in central Auckland, we are looking for a Programme Facilitator to deliver our Stopping Violence Programme in a group setting.
Based in Auckland, we are looking for a Programme Facilitator with an understanding of the dynamics of family violence. Responsible for the delivery of the No Excuses: Stopping Violence Programme in a group setting, an ability to engage and build rapport with men is essential.
This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week. We are quite flexible as to how these hours may work for you; they may be 2 days working 10 hours or you may prefer to mix it up over 3 days.

We help both directly and indirectly through our frontline services and our professional training programmes. Whānau Resilience is an initiative that aims to create strong, resilient communities where whānau are supported to live harm free and to eliminate harm for the next generation.
**Ngā pūkenga kei a koe** I Your Skills and Experience**
We are looking for a confident and engaging trainer with a tertiary level degree, majority in one of the following areas - Social Work, Counselling or Psychology. In addition, you will have:
- 5+ years experience facilitating and delivering programmes in a social services setting
- Sound knowledge of family harm, its dynamics, and effects on children, men, women and family
- Advanced ability to engage and build rapport with clients
- Excellent ability to network and represent our Shine Service in the community and form collaborative relationships with external groups such as Oranga Tamariki and other family focused agencies
- A confident working knowledge and understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
- Ability to work from our Epsom based, Central Auckland location
