This is an executive role of considerable impact and influence. As **Chief People and Assurance Officer**, you will report directly to the Chief Executive and serve as a key member of K inga Ora's Executive Leadership Team.
You will ensure K inga Ora has the talent and high-performance culture necessary to achieve its strategic goals. As an influential and results-driven executive, you will champion enterprise-wide change through a commercial lens.
You will lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of the People and Assurance Group, which includes overseeing the following functions - people, legal, communications, engagement and marketing, enterprise risk, and governance.
You will lead a large, multidisciplinary group of professionals and work in close partnership with Ministers, the K inga Ora Board, other government agencies, and sector groups and networks.

- Extensive senior leadership experience successfully collaborating with other senior leaders to drive organisational performance
- Demonstrated success influencing strategic decisions through a commercial and outcomes-based lens
- Demonstrated ability to develop highly effective mutually beneficial and collaborative partnerships internally and externally
- Understanding of partnership obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Experience leading enterprise-wide change, performance improvement and culture transformation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. HR, Law, Public Policy, Business or related discipline)
